Confirmation of booking


All booking must be confirmed in writing by the completion of the order form.


Deposits


Once the project has been confirmed we may ask the customer for a deposit at time of booking. This is normally 25% of the final cost.


Staged Payments


In the event that a project will be carried out over a number of weeks there will be a requirement that stage payment will be required. The frequency and percentage will be agreed at time of booking however in the event of a project taking longer than anticipated we reserve the right to request staged payments.

Failure to pay staged payment may result in the work on the project stopping.


Quotations


All quotation are made based on the assumption the there are no unforeseen problems encountered or changes in specification to the system is required. In the event that changes are required the engineer will consult with the customer before making changes and to agree addition charges.

We endeavour to avoid this situation by carrying out site surveys before every job.

Variations


In the event the customer requests variations to the projects specifications signed agreement will be required before the variation can be stated.


Insurance Cover


Third Party Liability £2,000,000.

£250,000 professional indemnity cover


Payment


Payment in full is required on completion of the job. 

Engineers carry card machines so payment can be made on completion of the job.

Cheques are not accepted.

Payment methods accepted are Cash, Debit Card or Credit Card or bank transfer.

Making Good


All engineers are expect to leave the property in a clean and tidy state. Making minimal disruption to the property.

Unless agreed at the time of booking engineers are not expected to carry out  plastering or painting.

If you have concerns over the tidiness of a job please contact us. 


Warranty


All material are covered by a 12 month warranty.

Labour is covered by a 3 month warranty.

In the event you identify a problem with the system please contact Yorkshire Home Security as soon as possible so we can arrange for an engineer to return to site and resolve the problem.

All repairs will be carried out during normal working hours as standard unless otherwise agreed.


Annual Maintenance


Annual maintenance contracts can be agreed , the fee will be dependant of your system design . Speak to your engineer. Contracts can be either and annual fee or monthly direct debit.
